〔http://www.tribuneindia.com/2010/20100202/haryana.htm〕 Gopal Prasad Sharma was born on June 16, 1964 in a small village (Bijolia) in Rajasthan, later in 1980s he stablished in Jaipur, Rajasthan is an famous Indian artist, he got national award for master craftsperson in 2007. Gopal is associated with the traditional miniature art of Rajasthan since 1980s. His fine miniature paintings related to god and Mughal period the highlight of these paintings is intricate and delicate brushwork which lends them to a unique identity. The colours are made from minerals, vegetables, precious stones, indigo, conch shells, pure gold and silver. GOPAL had shown his quality work and appreciated for his traditional art not only in India but also in many other countries like South America São Paulo Brazil 2010, tendence fare Frankfurt Germany 2012, nehru center London 2014 he recognized for his artwork when he made a world record to make smallest painting in the world (had made portrait on a mustard seed) mahatma gandhi, mother teresa, maharana pratap, bill clinton, Indira Gandhi (later in year 2003 got his name registered in limca books of world records) in 1989 he got his first award (jila award) for his very fine and detailed art work, then in 1998 he got state award by the governor of rajasthan shri Anshuman singh, and become a known name in the field of miniature art. He also started teaching this traditional art to the students from year 1999 and every where in the world when he exhibit he teaches to the interested people who want to learn the miniature art. Also he started doing workshops in schools and also teaches to the students at home for free of cost. Since then till now he had made around 20 thousand students all over the world. Later he got National Award for a miniature painting (bhagwat katha chitra, bali sugreev prasang from ramayana) It is a unique subject painting on which gopal got national award from the president. GOPAL was also nominated by the government of Rajasthan for the third biggest honour PADMA SHRI for the deep research and for spreading the traditional art to the world. ==Biography== GOPAL PRASAD SHARMA was born in a village bijolia in bhilwara, rajasthan on 16 June 1964 in a Hindu family who were gardhar (who make artworks on the walls of the mahal) to the royal family of bijoliya. Gopal started as wall painter in his village early in his career .to earn money he had made wooden furniture for a shop.
